On Saturday September 23, at 3:12 a.m., Sema G. Creighton, 25, of East Orange, NJ was stopped on Rt. 206 for a speeding violation. Ofc. Peterson detected the odor of marijuana inside her vehicle and a further search of the vehicle yielded marijuana and paraphernalia. Creighton was placed under arrest and transported to Montgomery Twp. Police Department for processing. Creighton was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Creighton was also issued motor vehicle summons for speeding and CDS in a motor vehicle. Creighton was released and is scheduled to appear in Montgomery Twp. Municipal Court.
On Friday September 23 at 8:24 p.m., Montgomery Police responded to the intersection of Route 206 and Pike Run Rd. for the report of a motor vehicle crash. The police investigation determined Tricia Deshazo, 60, of Belle Mead, NJ was operating a 2003 Volvo V70 southbound on Rt. 206 when she attempted a left turn onto Pike Run Rd. Deshazo impacted a 2013 Honda Accord traveling northbound on Rt. 206. The Honda Accord was operated by John Grasso, 28, of Madison, NJ. Montgomery EMS responded for complaint of pain and both drivers refused medical attention. The vehicles sustained heavy damage and were towed from the scene. Deshazo was issued a motor vehicle summons for Careless Driving and she is scheduled to appear in Montgomery Twp. Municipal Court.
On Tuesday 9/25/17 at 8:30 a.m., Montgomery Twp. Police arrested Andres Guillen, 52, of New Brunswick, NJ on two outstanding warrants totaling $1,000 which were issued by New Brunswick. Guillen was stopped for an inspection violation of County Route 518. While on the motor vehicle stop the warrants for Guillen were discovered. Guillen was placed under arrest and transported to MTPD for processing. New Brunswick released Guillen on his own recognizance.
