On Sunday September 10th, at 2:37 am, Montgomery Police stopped Michelle Miller, 44, of Hopewell, NJ on Route 518 in Blawenburg after observing an equipment violation on her vehicle. Miller was unable to produce her license and police determined her driving privileges were suspended in New Jersey and she had multiple active warrants for her arrest. Miller had active warrants from Woodbridge for $1273.00, Point Pleasant Boro for $550.00, Montgomery Township for $400.00 and Wall Twp. for $102.00. She was placed under arrest and transported to Montgomery Police headquarters for processing. Miller was unable to post bail and was turned over to Woodbridge Police Department. She was issued summons for driving while suspended, maintenance of lamps, and failure to produce a driver’s license and is scheduled to appear in Montgomery Municipal Court at a later date.
On Saturday September 9th, at 4:20 am, Montgomery Police located a Toyota Camry disabled off Harlingen Road near Devon Drive. The vehicle was stuck in the mud and had front end damage. Police were able to identify the driver as Luqi Chen, 26, of Princeton. Chen reported her vehicle entered a ditch and when she attempted to reenter the roadway her front end struck the edge of the pavement and became disabled. Chen left the vehicle and did not report the crash to police.
The vehicle was towed from the scene and Chen was issued summonses for failure to maintain lane, failure to report an accident, and leaving the scene of an accident. She is scheduled to appear in Montgomery Municipal Court at a later date.
On Sunday September 10, at 4:54 p.m., Jasmine C. Carr, 26, of Belle Mead, NJ was stopped on Rt. 206 for an inspection violation. Ofc. Chapkowski detected the odor of marijuana inside her vehicle and a further search of the vehicle yielded marijuana and paraphernalia. Carr was placed under arrest and transported to Montgomery Police Department for processing. Carr was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Carr was also issued motor vehicle summons for failure to inspect and CDS in a motor vehicle. Carr was released and is scheduled to appear in Montgomery Twp. Municipal Court
On Thursday August 31, at 10:44 p.m., Darel E. Mcdowell, 24, of Monroe, NJ was stopped on Rt. 206 for displaying a fictitious license plate on the vehicle he was operating. Further investigation revealed that Mcdowell had a suspended driver’s license and he was operating the vehicle without the owner’s consent. Mcdowell was also in possession of drug paraphernalia (glass pipe and syringes). Mcdowell was placed under arrest and transported to Montgomery Police Department for processing. Mcdowell was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and also issued motor vehicle summons for fictitious plate, suspended driver’s license, unregistered vehicle, uninsured vehicle, maintenance of lamps and operating/using vehicle without owner consent. Mcdowell is scheduled to appear in Montgomery Twp. Municipal Court.
