On Tuesday May 16, at 3:04 p.m., Ofc. Giaccone stopped William T. Grimes, 33, of North Brunswick, NJ after observing him on a cellphone violation and improperly passing vehicles while traveling on Rt. 206. During the stop the odor of raw marijuana was detected coming from Grimes’ vehicle. A search of the vehicle yielded a bag of marijuana and Grimes was placed under arrest and transported to Montgomery Police Department for processing. Grimes was issued a complaint summons for possession of marijuana under 50 grams. Grimes was also issued motor vehicle summonses for improper passing, cellphone violation, and possession of CDS in a motor vehicle. Grimes was released and is scheduled to appear in Montgomery Twp. Municipal Court.
