On March 27, at approx., 11:15 a.m., Officer Jason Larsen stopped a vehicle driven by Nicholas Ranta, 32, of Belle Mead for a motor vehicle violation. During the course of the stop, Ranta was found to have an outstanding warrant in the amount of 750.00 dollars from Hillsborough Municipal Court. Ranta’s driving privileges were also suspended. Ranta was arrested and transported to Montgomery PD. He was turned over to Hillsborough PD and issued motor vehicle citations for unclear license plates and driving while suspended. He has a court appearance scheduled in Montgomery Twp. Municipal Court.
On March 31, at approx., 8:30 a.m., Officer Jason Larsen stopped a motor vehicle on Autumn Lane for an inoperable brake light. The vehicle was driven by Quadir Hoagland, age 22, of North Brunswick. During the course of the stop, it was determined that Hoagland was a wanted person from the Middlesex County Prosecutors Office. Hoagland also had an active 1,000.00 dollar bail criminal warrant from North Brunswick Municipal Court. Hoagland was arrested and transported to MTPD for processing. He was issued motor vehicle citations for maintenance of lamps and failure to exhibit a driver’s license. He was transported to the Somerset County Jail to await transfer to the Middlesex County Jail.
On April 1, at approx., 3:45 p.m., Officer John Colucci stopped a motor vehicle on Route 601 for a broken windshield. During the course of the stop, an active child support warrant from Somerset County was found for the passenger, Stanley Somonski, age 60, of Somerville. Somonski was arrested and transported to MTPD for processing. He was later lodged in the Somerset County Jail. The driver was given a warning to repair the broken windshield.
On April 2, at approx., 11:20 a.m., Officer John Colucci stopped a motor vehicle on Route 206 for an inoperable brake light. The vehicle was driven by Tanell Waller Jr., age 20, of Willingboro. During the course of the stop, it was determined that Waller Jr. had outstanding warrants of 750.00 dollars from Delran Municipal Court and 250.00 dollars from Bordentown Municipal Court. Waller Jr. also had a suspended driver’s license and he was in possession of drug paraphernalia. Waller Jr. was arrested and transported to MTPD for processing. Waller Jr. was given new court dates for his outstanding warrants and he was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia as well as motor vehicle citations for maintenance of lamps, driving while suspended and possession of CDS in a motor vehicle. He was released and scheduled to appear in Montgomery Twp. Municipal Court.
