On Friday February 3, at 12:50 a.m., Montgomery Police stopped Ian Pillersmith, 18, of Titusville, NJ after observing an equipment violation on the vehicle he was operating on County Rt. 518. During the stop the officer detected the odor of marijuana coming from the interior of Pillersmith’s vehicle. A search of the vehicle yielded a glass water bong that had the odor of burned marijuana. Pillersmith was placed under arrest and processed at the police HQ. He was issued a summons for possession of drug paraphernalia and motor vehicle summonses for color of lamps and probationary license violation (hours of operation). Pillersmith is scheduled to appear in Montgomery Twp. Municipal Court.
