The sewer division now has eight (8) operators, a laboratory supervisor and a Chief Operator. We maintain eight (8) advanced wastewater treatment facilities and nine (9) sewage pumping stations. We are responsible for fifty-six (56) miles sewer lines. These operators are charged with meeting some of the most restrictive discharge limits in New Jersey for non-trout streams. The laboratory is certified for some of the compliance testing. The sewer utility relies on contractors for some lab testing, maintenance and excavation.
