Montgomery
Kid Connection is a private, non-profit program run under the auspices
of the Township of Montgomery. The program is funded by tuition, and
is licensed by the Division of Youth and Family Services. Kid Connection
is designed for working parents, as well as parents who want their
children to experience a preschool environment.
The school is composed of the following elements:
- Preschool
Classes for ages 3 and 4 years old (Child must be 3 or 4 by October
1st of the school year.)
- Kindergarten
Enrichment - Children registered in the Orchard Hill Elementary
School are eligible to extend their day by enrolling in this program
that is designed to complement their AM or PM schedules.
- The
Before-School Program
- (7:30-9:15 a.m.)
- The
After-School Program - (3:15-6:00 p.m.)
All
Kid Connection classes are conducted by certified teachers, who are
also trained in CPR and First Aid. Our Curriculum is designed to provide
a wide range of experiences that build on the children's interests.
Classroom activities, projects, and free play provide a rich program
of experiential and skills-based learning. Science, math, language and
social skills are integrated throughout the daily routine, and are supplemented
by music, movement, and computers. Introduction of a second language
occurs as the children demonstrate readiness.
