Township of Montgomery Tax Facts

Montgomery Township tax rateables include over 7,500 residential, farm & commercial properties worth over 3.7 billion dollars. The following total property tax rates include the schools, county, municipal and fire district taxes.

The Township has two fire districts. Fire District No. 1 serves the Northeast section of town, including Belle Mead and some Skillman mailing addresses. Fire District No. 2 serves the South and Southwest section of the Township, including some of Skillman, Blawenburg and Princeton mailing addresses.

Fire elections including budget vote are held the third Saturday of February each year at 2 pm at the fire houses.
